February 17 - 21

Because of the timing of junior scheduling for A day and B day, Vocab/reading quiz #14 will take place Thursday for 6th period, and next week for periods 1 and 2.

Please be sure to read and/or listen to the final Gatsby chapters, because this information will be on the quizzes and needed for class discussion.

MONDAY: Presidents' Day holiday, no school.

TUESDAY (6th period only): Journal warm-up. Gatsby character exercise in groups. Fallacies in argument, #4-6. Begin reading Chapter 9 of Gatsby.

Due: Read Chapter 8 of Gatsby. Turn in journal.

Homework: Study for quiz on Thursday.  

Finish Chapter 9 of Gatsby, (finish the book).

WEDNESDAY (1st and 2nd period) : Journal warm-up. Gatsby character exercise in groups. Fallacies in argument, #4-6. Begin reading Chapter 9 of Gatsby.

Due: Read Chapter 8 of Gatsby and be ready to answer questions about it.

Homework: For Friday, Finish Chapter 9 of Gatsby, (finish the book).

THURSDAY (6th period only): Journal warm-up. Quiz covering vocab #14, grammar, reading
